I use the decks moreso, working on teaching myself how to do remixes through software (Ableton live). However, I’ve not put much thought into it as of late as I’ve been so busy with everything else. (work, gigs, trying to find time to relax, getting my desktop PC parts ordered). If I do a live mix, it’s usually blending two songs together and “juking” the crossfader between the two to create my own flows off it. (Works very well with house/trance/dubstep). Needless to say due to life’s BS I’ve neglected almost all practice. This will all change once I get my desk. Hopefully I can get some direct drive turntables here soon as well. (I only have belt drives, my mixtrack pro, and my NS7).
